Licences for Raffle Lotteries, Bingos and Break Open Tickets

All eligible charitable and religious organizations interested in managing and conducting a raffle lottery or a bingo lottery or selling break open tickets must obtain a licence. Marriage Licence

All people having the right to get married in Ontario should beforehand obtain a marriage licence. The cost of the licence is $125. An appointment must be made to obtain a marriage licence. For information, please call (613) 632-0106, extension 2244.

Birth, Marriage or Death Certificates

To obtain a certificate for a birth, a marriage or a death that happened in Ontario only, you can send the applicable certificate application form duly completed directly to the Deputy Registrar General or use the online service. Business Licence

All businesses must obtain a licence in order to have the right to operate in the town of Hawkesbury. The cost is determined in accordance with Bylaw N^o 30-2004. For information, please call (613) 632-0106, option 1, 5.

Garage Sale Permit

All people wishing to do a garage sale must obtain a permit. A maximum of 2 garage sales are permitted per year. The cost is $10 per sale. Please come to the tax counter (door B) in order to fill the request for permit. For information, call (613) 632-0106, extension 2266.

Dog Licence

An annual licence is required for each dog owned. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed per household. The cost of a licence for a new dog is $25 at all time. The annual renewal cost of a licence is $25 per dog before April 1^st and $35 starting April 1^st. For information, please call (613) 632-0106, extension 2266.
