The vision of the department of Recreation and Culture for the Town of Hawkesbury is one that contributes to the development of its citizen's quality of life as it pertains to recreation and culture.

Our facilities include a sports complex that offers two NHL size rinks that can be easily transformed as a theatre or a trade show surface. The Robert Hartley Sports Complex also answers to all of the aquatic needs with a 25 metre (6 lanes) pool, one and three metre diving boards, a hot tub and sauna. A community hall with a seating capacity of 350 people is also available. Many parks and playgrounds as well as family and sporting activities are also offered.
