This notice is to advise you that Hawkesbury Transport & Excavation Inc. will soon be starting construction work along West Street, with completion anticipated in fall 2023. EVB Engineering will be representing the Town of Hawkesbury throughout the project.
More specifically, construction will consist of the below:
- Replacement of the existing sanitary sewers, sanitary laterals, storm sewers, catch basins, watermains and water services between Main Street West and Nelson Street West
- Full depth reconstruction of West Street between Main Street West and Nelson Street West along with reconstruction of concrete curbs and sidewalks.
- Reconstruction of a ~90 m long section of sanitary sewer along West Street, south of Rejane Crescent, and reinstatement of asphalt.
- Reinstatement of private driveways & walkways disturbed due to construction activities or as required to achieve an acceptable slope, in materials matching existing (i.e., asphalt driveways will be reinstated with new asphalt).
- Reinstatement of grass disturbed due to construction activities with sod.
