    • Notice - Request for Donations

      According to the Request for Donations Policy SF-P-2015-02, the Town of Hawkesbury will accept applications for donations until December 15, 2018, to be considered in the 2019 budget process.  Request for In-Kind Donations may be submitted at any time during the year, but at least 60 days before the event.

      Request for Donations must be submitted  on the Request for Donations Form, attached to the policy; submitted to the Town’s treasurer; submitted with all required supporting documents; and be supported by a resolution of the Board of Directors of the organization.

      REMINDER: Organizations that have benefited from financial assistance in 2018 must submit their evaluation report in accordance with the policy, to be eligible for the 2019 application process

      The Request for Donations Policy is available on the Town’s website or upon request at Town Hall.

    • Notice - Water Interruption

      This notice is to inform you that there will be a water supply interruption to perform municipal infrastructure work between the 442 to 677 Main Street Est, 197 John Street and 139 to 194 Paquette Lane on November 15, 2018 between 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.


      The water supply will be interrupted within 15 to 30 minutes following the sound warning.


      Once the Work is completed, please be sure to let the water run 5 minutes before consumption. 


      Note: Work will be postponed to a later date if weather conditions are unfavorable.

    • No parking - November 15 to April 15

      From November 15 to April 15 inclusively, overnight parking will be forbidden from midnight to 7:00 a.m. on all the streets of the Town.  For special occasion, it is possible to get an authorization, please contact the Town Hall.

    • Municipal Committees

      The Municipal Council is looking for people interested to serve on the various Town’s committees for the term starting on December 1st, 2018 and ending November 15, 2022. If you are interested and have an expertise you would like to share with us, qualifications that would benefit the mandate of a committee, please send an introduction letter supported by your resume no later than November 22 to the attention of Christine Groulx, Clerk or by e-mail at emailProtector.addCloakedMailto("ep_43d515fa", 0); and clearly indicate which committee you are interested in.

    • Temporary shelters - Tempo

      Temporary shelters are authorized between October 15 and April 15.  Please respect the 1 meters set back from the sidewalk or curb and set back of 0.3 meter from lot line because you could be asked to move it back.
