An Active Community is a Happy Community
This program aims to encourage seniors to break social isolation through a series of both sports and social activities, and to promote a range of activities accessible to everyone.
Spring - Summer Program
Weekly activity schedule:
- Weight Training: Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. FREE.
- Yoga Flow: Mondays and Thursdays from 12 pm to 1 pm. From March 24 to May 26, 2026. Consult the Amilia platform for prices.
- Energy Plus: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. $5 per day.
- Walking Club: Fridays from 9 am to 10 am. FREE.
- Chair Yoga: Fridays from 10 am to 11 am. FREE.
Pickleball (FREE):
- Beginner: Monday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Learn to play.
- Intermediate: Wednesday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. Drop in.
- Intermediate Plus: Thursday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
Coffee Connect:
This is a series of FREE friendly gatherings that combine activities with conversation over coffee.
- Genealogy: April 21 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Discover your family history and roots using simple tools.
- Nutrition: May 19 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Practical tips for healthy eating every day.
- Canada Day: July 1 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Special activity at the Le Chenail Cultural Centre.
- First Aid: September 15 from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm. Learn essential skills to respond effectively in an emergency.
Outings to come:
- Fifty-Five Plus Lifestyle Show: April 10th. Come meet exhibitors and get inspired to make the most of your lifestyle. FREE.
- Clef des Champs Garden: July (date TBC). Explore an organic medicinal garden and its terraced plants on a mountainside. Fees TBC.
