To mark the creation of our 2026 calendar, the Town of Hawkesbury is launching a photo contest that allows interested people to showcase our beautiful town and all it has to offer!
Whether it’s:
- A secret spot you love.
- An iconic landscape.
- A scene from local life.
- A landmark event.
What we’re looking for:
Photos that show the dynamic, beauty and authenticity of our Town throughout the year.
Feel free to submit photos illustrating themes such as winter, Canada Day, Halloween or Christmas, and more!
Prizes:
- For each category, a prize will be awarded to the photographer who has taken the most outstanding photo and a fifth winner for an overall outstanding photo. (5x50$)
- Visibility in the Town of Hawkesbury official 2026 calendar.
- And of course, each selected photographer will be credited for their work!
To enter:
- Fill out the form below.
- Submit your most beautiful photo(s).
- Describe your photo(s) in a few words (location, activity, etc.).
- If necessary, attach a photography release agreement.
Conditions:
- Must be 16 years old or older.
- Photos must be in landscape format.
- Photos must have been taken in the Town of Hawkesbury.
- Files must be at least 300 DPI (2400 x 3000 pixels) and in JPEG or PNG format.
- If it is possible to identify faces or people in your photos, you must complete the publication authorization form for each person in the photo.
- By sending your photos, you certify that you are the author and authorize the Town of Hawkesbury to publish and distribute them for promotional purposes at any time.
- If any of the conditions are not met, the Town of Hawkesbury reserves the right to disregard the photo(s) submitted.
- Winners will be contacted by e-mail.
