❄️ Family Day in Hawkesbury ❄️

The Town of Hawkesbury invites all citizens to celebrate winter on Family Day, February 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A festive day in a warm and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family. It’s the perfect opportunity to get out, enjoy winter, and take part in a variety of activities that will create memorable moments for everyone.

Program schedule: 

  • 10 AM to 6 PM  - Arcade Zone  - FREE
  • 10 AM to 6 PM  - Photobooth - FREE
  • 10 AM to 6 PM  -  Food court  - $ 
     
  • 10AM to 11AM  - Little Ray's Nature Centres - Nature's Ninjas event - FREE
  • 10AM to 12PM - Snowshoeing intro - FREE
  • 10AM to 2PM  - Arts & Crafts - FREE
  • 10AM to 2PM  - Face painting for kids with Lorie Brown - FREE
  • 10AM to 2PM - Come meet firefighters and police officers from the OPP
  • 10:30 to 11:30AM - Public Skating - FREE  - limited availability, reserve on Amilia
  • 11AM to 12PM - “Science Mad Lab” with Dr Rickenstein  - FREE
  • 12:30 to 1:30PM - Swimming - FREE  - limited availability, reserve on Amilia
  • 2PM to 4PM - Hawks Hockey Game - $7
  • 4PM to 6:30PM  - Swimming - FREE  - limited availability, reserve on Amilia
  • 4:30 to 5:30PM - Skate with the Hawks  - FREE  - limited availability, reserve on Amilia  

This event is made possible thanks to the collaboration of our partners: the Hawkesbury Hawks, Exit Reality, the CFA, the Hawkesbury Fire Department, the Hawkesbury Public Library, the OPP, and Kawabunga.

Whether it’s for fun, spending time together, or simply enjoying the winter season, there will be something for everyone! ❄️☃️
