The Town of Hawkesbury is proud of having on its territory the presence of the Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) that provides quality patient care to the residents of Prescott and Russell in Eastern Ontario and surrounding areas.

HGH is a bilingual, 69-bed community hospital providing a full range of programs, services and ambulatory clinics from its main campus in Hawkesbury and two satellite centres in Clarence-Rockland and Casselman.

HGH is growing to better serve the Prescott and Russell community in Eastern Ontario. At the end of 2018, the major redevelopment project of $160 million will provide a new state-of-the-art, purpose-built facility with the latest in equipment and infrastructure. The stellar design will improve patient flow enhancing the patient and family experience. The Town of Hawkesbury and HGH are proud to bring quality care, closer to home.
