Notice of a complete application and of a public meeting concerning a proposed amendment to zoning by-law no 20-2018 (d14-138)

Take notice that the Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Hawkesbury will hold a public meeting on Monday, June 14, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. virtually in order to consider a proposed Amendment to Zoning By-law No 20-2018 under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.

The purpose of the application is to rezone the subject land from Institutional (I) to Residential Zone 4 (R4) and to permit the reduction of parking spaces from 1.5 spaces per dwelling unit to 1 space per dwelling unit. The developer proposes an apartment building with 24 dwelling units. The parking spaces will be mostly underground. The Zoning By-law Amendment application will be specific to the property located at the south-west corner of the intersection between Spence Avenue and Industrial Boulevard, as being Part 1 of Lot 11 on Plan M-18, in the Town of Hawkesbury, County of Prescott.
