An operating license application will be processed as follows: (please allow a minimum of 10 business days)
1- The applicant must complete an application form.
2- The application will be submitted to a By-law Enforcement Officer for review.
3- The complete application will be forwarded to the following departments, if applicable:
- Planning Department
- Building Department
- Fire Department
- Recreation and Tourism Department
4- Once all required documents and approvals have been received, the By-law Enforcement Officer will issue the business operating permit.
5- The commercial property on which a licensed operator may operate a refreshment vehicle under a Type A permit will be designated as such at the discretion of Council by resolution.
For all applications for a permit please allow a minimum delay of 10 business days.
No person may operate a refreshment vehicle without having obtained a refreshment vehicle operating permit issued under By-law No. 27-2024.
The fees associated with opening the file and obtaining the permit are subject to annual adjustment. Once reviewed and approved, the fees must be paid in person at Town Hall, either by cheque, debit, or cash.
