Recycling program update
A new enhanced recycling system allows more materials to be recycled across the province. The full accepted materials list is available online. As of January 1, 2026, recycling questions should be directed to Miller Waste, while collection services remain the same.
Registration – 2026 Winter Program
A variety of courses will be offered from January 12 to March 13 at the Sports Complex to start the year 2026 off right.

Champlain and Hawkesbury Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Support Growth and Services
The Township of Champlain and the Town of Hawkesbury have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen collaboration, support sustainable growth, and improve services across the region. The agreement outlines a path toward land annexation discussions and shared water and sewer services, with a formal agreement targeted by April 30, 2026.
